ABOUT OUR BOAT TRIPS
Weymouth and Portland Boat Trips is a cooperative of 4 local skippers working together to share our local knowledge. We run boat trips around Weymouth and Portland historical harbours in our fleet of 4 purpose-built 30ft passenger vessels capable of carrying up to 12x passengers.
Our popular 1-hour boat trip takes you from Weymouth Harbour, through the waters of the 2012 sailing Olympics to Portland Harbour and back!
We offer private boat trips such as our Jurassic Coast 1-hour boat trip taking in Bowleaze Cove, Osmington, Red Cliff Point, Ringstead Bay and distance views of Durdle Door, we also offer Ashes Scattering, Hen and Stag Do's.

With a full commentary, our local skippers will guide you through the key viewing points, including the historical Weymouth Harbour and the Georgian seafront. views along the Jurassic coastline and Portland harbour with its visiting shipping, local wildlife, breakwaters, forts and castles.
We welcome babies and toddlers under the age of 1 year for free on our vessels.

WEYMOUTH HARBOUR
Embark on your journey in Weymouth, as we make our way out through the picturesque harbour to sea.
GEORGIAN SEA FRONT
See views of the Georgian Weymouth seafront and grand buildings from the sea, and out along the UNESCO Jurassic coastline from the 'White Horse', Red Cliffs, White Nothe and beyond towards Durdle Door.
NOTHE FORT
See the impressive Nothe Fort and its gardens from the sea.
See Portland harbour's breakwaters, with their forts and pill boxes and undisturbed plentiful wildlife.
PORTLAND BREAKWATERS
PORTLAND & SANDSFOOT CASTLE
From the boat, you'll take in views of Henry the VIII's Portland Castle, and the ruins of Sandsfoot Castle.
PORTLAND HARBOUR
Cruise through the waters of Portland harbour, where the 2012 sailing Olympics took place, passing the national sailing academy and Portland marina.
PORTLAND PORT
Visit the busy portland port, with its visiting shipping, from the Royal Navy, Royal fleet auxiliary and Cruisliners.
CHEQUERS FORT
See Chequered fort with her own private harbour and barrack buildings and hopefully a resident seal!
THE MULBERRY
Castle town is home to 2 of the Famous 'Mulberry harbour Pheonix Caissons' shrouded in history.
